Call for Artists

The exhibition will be held at the Nice2MeetU Garden in Highland Park, New Jersey.

From April 6, 2024, to August 30, 2024.

This exhibition is open to all interpretations of the concept of forgiveness. Included are all forms of surreal, visionary, and extraordinary figurative art. All interpretations of the theme "Forgiveness" will be reviewed and considered.

ELIGIBILITY AND RESTRICTIONS: The competition is open to all artists, national and international, working in all media. All forms of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital and installation art, poetry, video, etc. are eligible. Entrants must be 11 years of age or older to apply, a minor must apply with the consent of a parent. Wall-mounted works must not be taller than 72" no wider than 60".

Sculptural work must fit through a 36" wide entry door.

EXHIBITION: Winning artists will be featured in a group exhibition at the Nice2MeetU Garden, and our partners. The exhibition will also be displayed on the Nice2MeetU website and promoted on social media.

EXHIBITION TERMS: All works in the show must be for sale. The gallery will take a 35 percent commission on all sales. The sale price is determined by the artist.

ENTRY FEES: There is a $25.00 entry fee for one to four artworks entered, the presentation is by digital JPG image files. There is a $5.00 fee for each additional artwork above four. Details of 2D artwork count as additional artwork. Sculptors may provide one additional view per artwork without cost. Artists accepted to exhibit will not be charged additional fees of any kind. Payments by credit card at the time of entry using PayPal, or check or money order payable to Nice2MeetU.

IMAGE USE / COPYRIGHTS: The artist retains all copyrights to submitted images and represented artwork. Digital images submitted with artist entry are for exhibition selection only and will be deleted after completion of the selection process. By entering the competition, artists selected to exhibit grant Nice2MeetU rights to use the selected image(s) on printed materials and the gallery website for promotional purposes only. Nice2MeetU and/or Nice2MeetU Productions retain no copyrights to the artist's work.

NOTIFICATION: Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance no later than December 19, 2023. Results will be posted on or before this date at: www.n2mu.store/bulletin

Notification will be made by posting on the results page. All artists who provide a working email address will also be notified via email. Type your email address clearly, if a mistake is made you will not be notified. Nice2MeetU can not be responsible for email notifications sent to spam, not opened, or not delivered due to the unreliability of email notifications.

PRIVACY POLICY: Artist contact information (address, telephone, etc.) is only held for the purpose of contacting selected artists and is not preserved in any database. Entry data and image files are deleted upon the completion of the jury process. All artists will have the opportunity to opt out of our future events and announcement email list when they receive their notification.

DEADLINE: The entry deadline is October 13, 2023. Entries must be submitted via email by 12 midnight on this date.
